What does The Entrepreneurial Teen Program Do?
The Entrepreneurial Teen has helped numerous students gain the self confidence to pursue their goals in business, school, and life. Developed by successful entrepreneurs, the online programs and camps give teens the opportunity to take part in an extensive experience of entrepreneurship, team building, college life and self discovery.
Who Are Our Students?
Our students are teens who are bored with typical schools and want to be challenged in a way that taps into their entrepreneurial creativity. Many want to learn about business from successful entrepreneurs while gaining a unique perspective to help them get a leg up in the college application process.
Who Are We?
The Entrepreneurial Teen was founded by Thomas E. Houck. Mr. Houck is a highly sought after CPA, CFP® and business consultant. Tom is one of the foremost experts on working with aspiring teen entrepreneurs and small business owners. His innovative tools and techniques have proven time and again to provide a life changing experience. Tom is the author of “Why Don’t They Teach This Stuff in School? Giving Teens the Tools to Author Their Own Success Stories” and the upcoming book “The Top Ten Mistakes Business Owners Make and How to Fix Them”.
Tom is a Cum Laude graduate of Bucknell University. As a business owner himself at a young age, Tom realized that many entrepreneurs struggle with similar problems regardless of industry. He spent 15 years studying the traits of successful entrepreneurs to determine what sets them apart from everyone else. Tom’s fascinating findings enabled him to create “tools” to help the struggling business owner take it to the next level while creating a life they love outside the business. Encouraged by a teen entrepreneurship camp his teen aged sons attended he then developed “tools” to help teens much the same way he has helped entrepreneurs. Tom lives in Jupiter, Florida.
